Bio

McClain received her B.F.A. in Dance Education from Arizona State University and M.A.T. in Spanish Secondary Education from Salem State University. She teaches Wellness and works as an interdisciplinary educator for the Boston Public Schools. Additionally she teaches dance in the Performing Arts Department at Stonehill College where she works with many aspiring artists and educators. She is excited to be graduating from Lesley University this May with her doctoral degree in Educational Studies, where she focused on Holistic STEAM and Asset-Based teaching and learning practices in middle school classrooms that center inclusive education for all learners.
