2024-25 Call for Design Projects

An opportunity for all within MIT to apply for support to elevate existing and new design initiatives.

MAD is dedicated to celebrating design in its many forms, and to maximizing the impact of design activities taking place across the Institute. Everyone in the MIT Community with a design-related project may apply for funding and / or assistance.

You may receive one-time support in various forms, such as limited financial resources, collaboration around communications, and access to a network of designers at MIT.

SELECTION CRITERIA
In an effort to encourage cross-disciplinarity, projects serving multiple audiences or units will be prioritized.

While “design” should be a clear component of the project, MAD accommodates many dimensions of design across fields, including processes, and artifacts.
