Helping Children Engage with Climate Change Through Play
Introduction
During their 2022 MAD fellowship, Natha (Bam) Singhasaneh and Alexander Crease explored how to make sustainability education more approachable for children. Their project leveraged play to foster environmental awareness and empower young people to take an active role in shaping a more sustainable future.

Solution & Impact
By integrating sustainability into everyday learning experiences, Crease and Singhasaneh's work helped children develop a sense of responsibility while also influencing the adults around them. Through hands-on engagement and conversation, they aimed to break the “spiral of silence” around climate change and equip parents and educators with tools to discuss these critical topics.
